UNDEFEATED TOKYO 山田です。
前回の続きですが
忠実なサンプリングに定評のあるコンバースに対し、
U.S. ARMY AIR FORCE MA-1
ミリタリージャケット独特の素材感・配色を同モデルに
落とし込みました。
また、
ミリタリーの階級を表すパッチをヒントに
随所にベルクロパッチを施すなど、細かいギミックの利いた
一足に仕上がっています。
今作も
とことん
こだわり抜いていますが
もちろん、
チャックテイラーのソールには
ブランドの象徴である
「５STRIKES」が輝いています。

The base for these kicks is an new take on the Converse All Star Weapon Hi, first introduced as a hybrid between the Weapon and the All Star back in 1980. Compared with the original model at that time this updated version has the distinction of resembling the Weapon on the lateral side and the All Star on the medial side, making for an interesting duality between both models. In addition, the shoe also features materials and colors to those used on the MA-1 jacket with removable Velcro patches just like the real thing to match. To top it off a 5 strike logo on the vulcanized sole brings the whole package together.
